Game Review: Smackdown Vs Raw 2009

Smackdown Vs Raw is game which can always be appreciated for its meaning. Fighting. Not only is there the odd bish-bash of fists, but you can always expect a new inventory of weapons, every time you look under the ring. These pain enriched weapons range from chairs to fire sticks. I mean come off it, if you you were hit by a barbed wire stick, which not to mention is on fire, you would suffer serious damage to not only your body but also to your brain, most probably knocking you out or sending you into a deep, deep coma!
Now for the stats. For game-play, I give S Vs R a mediocre 5/10. Although it is a hyper and fun-filled fighting experience, it seems to lack a certain quality of R.E.A.L.I.S.M. So imagine this. You are in a grapple between you and Shawn Michaels when The Great Khali comes along to break you up, and guess what, HE CAN'T. Some complete idiot at THQ decided that if you a doing some sort of special move, you should not be interupted. I mean, O.K., if your a cruddy gamer then its nice that you can do moves without any worries, but if your one that plays for the excitement and thrills of unexpected attacks, a.k.a 99% of the normal gamer population, then this game is not for you.
Graphics wise, I give it a positive 7/10, they aren't brilliant but neither are they terrible. The game contains a small amount of blood 'Parental Guidance is advised' but not too much.

When released it cost £44.99 R.R.P. This was alright seeing as all games are ridiculously expensive, so this game is just another 'Is it worth it? Yes? No? I suppose so, but not really' So what I'm really trying to say is 'Yeh, it's probably worth it'
