Game Review: Mirrors Edge

Mirrors Edge is one of the first ever free-running games on the market in full blown HD graphics. It uses quite an extreme control scheme compared to any other game out there. You are required to create many different combos with your slowly tiring hands and after about 10 minutes of solid playing, your hands need at least a half an hour break before you can resume game-play. When released it sold in the thousands and pleased all audiences around the world.
Here are the stats I gave Mirrors Edge:
For game-play I give it a perfect 10/10 because of its intense and suspense filled craziness of what is supposed to be a game for experts. Even if you are an expert, there is no doubt that even you shall find it a tough time keep up with the speedy mayhem.
Graphics-wise I give it a well deserved 9/10 because so much time and effort must have been needed to create the huge running environment for your character, Faith, who moves elegantly at the flick of a button.

When this game was released, it was worth only £24.99. That was an insanely cheap price, especially when compared to £54.99 Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. There is no doubt that this game is definitely worth it and shall not be denied a space in my top ten games collection.
